Living Lab Soria
This program offers a comprehensive view of mycotourism, combining scientific research and sustainable development strategies. International experts from various disciplines will analyze how science can contribute to the revitalization of mycological tourism in rural areas, with innovative models and practices based on knowledge.
The conferences will address the role of research in understanding fungi and their application in the environmental and economic sustainability of the sector. Studies on mycological biodiversity and its impact on ecosystems will be discussed, as well as the value of scientific meetings for the advancement of this field.
The gastronomic field will also have a scientific focus, exploring the nutritional benefits and properties of wild mushrooms, with the participation of chefs and researchers working on their sustainable use.
The training and professionalization of the sector will be another fundamental axis of the program, with the creation of an international network of mycotourism guides that promotes the recognition and training of these specialists with an approach based on scientific evidence.
Communication and marketing will also be protagonists, analyzing the best strategies to disseminate scientific advances and strengthen the connection between research, tourism, and the general public.
In addition, the program will offer exclusive experiences, such as guided tours and specialized meetings, becoming a benchmark for the promotion of mycotourism as a development model based on science and sustainability.
