Mycological Guide Course 2026

Description:

The Mycological Guide Course 2026 is designed for individuals interested in mycology, regenerative nature tourism, and the responsible harvesting of mushrooms and truffles in Spain. The course is organized and financed by the MicoAragón Association, a partner entity of the European Mycological Institute (EMI), the organization that certifies the training.

  • Autumn and winter mushrooms: recognition and collection of species of gastronomic interest.
  • Truffles and hypogeous fungi: ecology, identification, and their relationship with truffle cultivation.
The course is taught by Javier Marcos Martínez, a biologist and mycology expert with extensive teaching experience. A minimum attendance of 80% is required, as well as passing theoretical and practical assessments to obtain certification from the European Mycological Institute (EMI).
