Alberche Valley Nature Museum

Name:

Alberche Valley Nature Museum

Description:

The Alberche Valley Nature Museum offers a wide variety of activities focused on mycotourism, aimed at both adults and children. Its main offerings include mycological field trips, which include a brief introduction to the Kingdom of Fungi and explanations on the responsible collection of specimens. After collection, a Mycology Classroom-Workshop is held in the field itself, where the monitor-guide helps to classify, identify, and learn in detail about the material found. For children, these outings are adapted to the age of the participants, fostering curiosity and respect for nature in a fun and educational way.
In addition, the company participates in autumn mycological conferences, where it gives introductory talks on mycology aimed at the general public. Its services are aimed at museum visitors, rural accommodations in the area, and are present in tourism promotion portals such as the Ecotourism Club of Spain and Soy Ecoturista. The activities combine respect for the natural environment with learning, promoting ecotourism and knowledge of local ecosystems. Its didactic and sustainable approach makes each outing an enriching experience to discover the world of fungi.
